Besties/Sisters Bracelets

As a 16 yr old girl, I ventured to Ponferrada, Spain, as a young exchange student 32 years ago. I came from a rural town with a population less than 2,500 and arrived in the foreign country where I knew nobody, knew a handful of words/phrases, and had only a picture of the family I'd be living with. It was a long journey getting to my new home, I was scared and homesick after being put on the wrong bus. I ultimately arrived by taxi. When that taxi finally pulled up to the front of the apartment building, a young girl my age ran out of the door, jumped in the taxi, and grabbed me in a warm hug, then said "Welcome, Kari, you are home now!" From that moment, Spain became my 2nd home, that young girl my sister for life. I got the latitude & longitude of that very spot printed on 2 bracelets. I wear one everyday, and sent the 2nd to my Spanish sister, who wears hers everyday as well. Each time I see my bracelet, I am flooded with life-changing, warm, loving memories. THANK YOU!!!! We absolutely LOVE our 'besties/sisters bracelets'! :)
